Eco-responsible Event

THE MONT-TREMBLANT HALF-MARATHON AN ECO-RESPONSIBLE EVENT

With the support of the Green Committee at Curé-Mercure high school and in partnership with Ressources Vertes des Laurentides, the Mont-Tremblant Half-Marathon will be able to reach its eco-responsible objectives for this third edition of the event. The green committee will help the organisation integrate eco-responsible practices in the operations and activities of the Mont-Tremblant Half-Marathon. The group will support the organisation ensure that best practices are followed particularly with waste management. The green committee composed of students and members of the community will be able to help reduce the environmental footprint of this event so that we may continue to run in a healthy environment.

Ressources vertes des Laurentides is an up and coming organisation specializing in eco-responsibility and sustainability. Whether at home, at work or at an event like the Half-Marathon, Ressources Vertes des Laurentides promotes responsible, affordable and effective consumption. It also offers a range of information ressources about healthy living and different options to be more ‘green’ and reduce the impact of our actions for the communities of today and of tomorrow.
